As we go through Arguayo,
we´ll start climbing towards the National Park of Las Cañadas
del Teide, famous for its lunar landscape, with jagged rocks
in a wild range of colours: black, white, yellow, red, green
... On our way down to the noth coast, you can admire the
impressive sights offered by the Orotava Valley, of whom
Humboldt mentioned as one of the world most beautiful sights.
Once in Puerto de la Cruz you have a chance to visit the
famous Loro Parque and enjoy the the world largest selection
of parrots, as well as among others, the dolphin and sea lion
shows. If you wish you can visit the town centre with its
pedestrian walk-ways and cosmopolitan air. Places of interest
are the Botanical Gardens, Lago Martiánez, Plaza del Charco
and the beach of Playa Jardín.
