Santa Cuz, the capital of
the province, was formed by parting from the beaches of Anaga.
Nowadays, its a bright, modern well documented historical
city. Its heart is formed by the squares of la Candelaria and
Plaza de España opposite the cosmopolitan harbour. Las
Teresitas beach is a short distance from the capital of Santa
Cruz. This is the only white sand beach in Tenerife, so well
worth a visit. As we climb through the small fishing village
of San Andrés, passing through the majestic mountain range of
Anaga, we arrive at the picturesque taganana, a typical white
washed village in a beautiful enclave. local fresh fish is a
speciality to delight your palate.
